The leading All Progressive Congress (APC) Senate aspirant for Kogi Central Senatorial District, Engr. Abdullahi Malik Okino has debunked rumors that he has jettisoned his aspiration.
Okino made this known during a meeting with a group of supporters on Saturday.
During the meeting, Okino commended his followers for their steadfastness, unwavering support and patriotic dispositions in the course of his timely campaign.
He noted that the rumor that he is stepping down or perhaps leaving the APC is a mere phantasmagoria cum the wishful thinking of idle minds.
The Senate aspirant stated that disgruntled individuals are spreading fallacious projections in an attempt to drag his reputation in the mud.
A supporter, Matthew Avabee told our reporter that the propaganda wheel are mere spinning tales from a land of fantasy, but truth will always have its way of prevailing.
“Our principal, Engr Abdullahi Malik Okino remains faithfully and strongly in the race and we are hopeful to triumph victoriously.
“We urge the general public to disregard these malicious rumors as it is a public knowledge that Engr Abdullahi Malik Okino is an intelligent and cultured young man who, amongst the rest has all it takes to efficiently and effectively represent Kogi Central Senatorial District in the next Senate Assembly,” he said.
He urged supporters of Okino to remain steadfast as the Senate race is all about putting the people first.
