Kogi Central 2015: Ex Kwara Gov’s Aide Top Poll

Ahead of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) primaries for the Kogi State Central Senatorial District has placed Hon. Hamza Usman, former Senior Special Assistant to Kwara State Governor on ICT ahead of other aspirants.

According to the opinion poll conducted by Sigma Biographical Research, Hamza polled 41 per cent of sampled opinion from the district.

According to the sample opinion 41 per cent of respondents expressed preference for the PDP aspirant to emerge the party candidate.

The incumbent, Senator Nurudeen Abatemi and the Chairman of Okene Local Government Area, Ahmed Ogembe, both of who are also senatorial contenders, polled 15 per cent and 12 per cent to place second and third respectively.

Former Senators Salihu Ohiare and Salihu Ohize who are also contenders polled 8 per cent and 6 per cent respectively.

Other aspirants sampled included: Deede Attah 9 per cent; Mathew Onimisi 4 per cent; A. K. Salihu 3 per cent and Moses Wokili 2 per cent.
