Never has a governor been criticized this much on his one year mark in leadership. From tales of mismanagement of funds to needless series of travels, absurdity and recklessness in administrative duties, unending strikes and retrogressive state of the economy. All but few have nothing good to say about him. Arrows seems to be flying from all nooks in the state to the government house.

The emergence of this malady was anticipated long ago. From my previously note last week, bello’s fiasco would loom large if he doesn’t retrace his steps. The ugly trend of unpaid salaries ad unending screening exercises should be brought to an end once and for all. The debacle at hand shouldn’t constitute anecdote from different individuals within and outside the state. Bello’s cohorts which consist of all kind of spin doctors and whammy dealers are only after their own share of the state lucre. Their greediness overrides their judgment and only complicates the already dismal catastrophe. If a governor cant boast of any cogent and developmental stride after a year in office, of what use are his advisors? Instead of assembling and organizing his administration to bring the ailing state back to significant betterment, he is busy conducting screening exercise that never ends. The staffs that are supposed to aid in the development are being tormented and witch-hunted all in the name of screening exercises.

Or maybe it’s just part of his toxic brinkmanship to keep the workers fund somewhere to grow wealth for himself. The good hopes, will and support the state had for him are down casted, drenched and turned into vengeful reprisals. It is said that trust lost can never be attained. Not to the previous level. It takes many actions to gain trusts and only one action to lose them. He has wasted one fourth of his tenure in making unnecessarily enemies. To some individuals, his sins are unpardonable. Can he make up for his misdeeds? One can’t tell but he surely does have enough enigmas to face.
