The General Overseer of Chapel of Freedom International Churches, Lokoja, Bishop John Ibenu, has congratulated Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo and the people of Kogi state on the 34th anniversary of the state’s creation.
Speaking with our reporter in Lokoja on Wednesday, Bishop Ibenu said God brought all the tribes in Kogi together for a special purpose.
He prayed that the future of Kogi state will be far better than the past.
Dr. Ibenu thanked all leaders and government for all that has been done to bring the state to its current level and urged everyone to do more in the fear of God.
“God has helped us with everything we have done so far. But, it can be better.
“We have all it takes to make Kogi an enviable state in the nation. We have the best and largest solid mineral deposits as well as abundant and capable human resources,” he said.
Bishop Ibenu urged Governor Ododo to continually surround himself with capable people that will help make Kogi state better.
“May God give you wisdom, foresight and courage to leave notable legacies by the time your tenure is over. God will help you. He will guide you. Be assured that you are in our prayers,” he said
He called on all citizens to unite and join hands with government for good success.
