The management of Reference Hospital Okene has congratulated Governor Usman Ododo on the 33rd anniversary of Kogi state’s creation.
In a statement on Monday, the Chief Medical Director/CEO, Prof Solomon Avidime also congratulated the people of Kogi state on the milestone attained.
Prof Avidime acknowledged the significant progress and development achieved over the years and appreciate the tireless efforts of the present administration in promoting the health, well-being and prosperity of Kogites.
“Worthy of mention is the renovation and construction of hospitals across the three senatorial districts of the State, strengthening drugs and medical supply agency to ensure the availability, affordability and distribution of drugs and medical consumables, sustaining the State Health Insurance Scheme and Bellocare, hundred percent salary payment to all health workers in the state as well as ensuring effective service delivery in the health sector.
“As a healthcare institution, we, at RHO are proud to be part of this journey, contributing to the health sector in every positive way to have a healthy populace for a virile state,” he said.
Prof Avidime prayed that Almighty God lift Kogi State to greater heights of development, greatness and prosperity under Governor Ododo’s leadership to record unprecedented achievements and leave worthy legacies in the sands of time.
