Kogi Assembly Press Corps Mourns Late John Abah

Kogi State House of Assembly Press Corps has sympathized with the members of the House and family of the late member representing Ibaji constituency, Hon. John Abah who died at the early hours of Wednesday, June 24.

The Press Corps in a statement by its Chairman, Felix Udebu and Secretary, Sunny Adebija, said the body received the news of the demise of the lawmaker with rude shock, describing it as unfortunate and a colossal loss. 

The body stated that late Hon. John Abah would be greatly missed for his immense contributions to legislative activities in the State Assembly. 

They noted that the death of the experienced and outstanding lawmaker had created a vacuum too difficult to fill and prayed God to grant him eternal rest and the family, the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss. 

The Assembly Press Corps, while sympathizing with the deceased immediate family, members of the State Assembly and the entire people of Ibaji, prayed God to grant him eternal rest. 

Similarly, the assembly press corps has also sympathised with the majority leader and member representing Ajaokuta state constituency, Hassan Bello Abdullahi and his family over the death of his father.

It said Baba would be greatly missed as a community leader who has impacted on the lives of people around him. 

The corps prayed God to grant him Aljenah Fidausi.
