Prince Shuaibu Abubakar Audu campaign organization has rejected the just concluded All Progressives Congress (APC) primary election in Kogi state, describing it as Incurably defective.

The campaign organization argued that primary election was highly compromised and fraudulent process characterized by unprecedented irregularities.

In a statement in Lokoja, the Campaign Organization called for the cancellation of the primary election due to the enormity of absurdities and infractions which dominated the process.

The statement noted that the Primary Election of Friday 14th April, 2023 did not hold in most ward centres as officials and material were not available.

The Campaign Organisation further stated that the announced results emanated from no polling center rather from a hide-out where results were fictitiously and frivolously concocted and allocated and described the process as one of the greatest electoral fraud in our political history as aspirants and party members who waited in vain to cast their votes discovered that results were announced and votes allocated fraudulently.

The campaign called on President Muhammadu Buhari, the President-Elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the National Chairman of the party, Senator Abdullahi Adamu to intervene.

“We are determined to ensure that justice is done, this we shall pursue to logical conclusion through the Primary Election Appeal Committee and we shall not hesitate eventually if need be to challenge the process in a court of law, as it is an established fact that when and if a party violates its own rules, its actions becomes a nullity,” the statement added.
