The last may not have been heard of the crisis within the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi State, as the winner of the party’s primary for the Adavi/Okehi Federal Constituency, Suleiman Kokori Abdulkarim, has asked a Federal High Court sitting in Abuja to enforce his candidature.

According to Abdulkarim, he scored 413 votes in the primary election, while the runner-up, Isiaka Jamiu, scored 9, and Ajana Kabiru polled 5 votes, while 2 votes were invalid out of a total of 429 delegates.

He expressed dismay that the name of the contestant with the least number of votes would be used to substitute his own name, who actually won the primary election.

While praying the court to ask INEC to refrain from recognising Ajanah as the duly nominated candidate of the APC in respect of Adavi/Okehi Federal constituency, pending the hearing and determination of the motion in notice, he said he was hopeful that justice would be done.

Your comment…I think the presidency and the national APC leaders should intervane, they should settle and resolve the differnces but the likes of Hadi, Dino and other groups should be fear in carry out their probe. Both parties should learn to forgive each other.
