A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress APC) in Kogi State, Engr. Edward Meseko has explained why the people of Yagba Federal Constituency are looking up to him for direction in the upcoming Aug 29 APC governorship primaries in the state.
Meseko, while speaking with journalist in Ilorin on Monday, said he always made himself available to his people.
The APC chieftain said that he listens to the plight of his people and was always ready to sacrifice anything to make them happy.
Meseko, who was a House of Representatives aspirant under All Progressive Congress (APC) for Yagba Federal Constituency in the just concluded general elections, explained that his people love him because he is a practical politician.
“I eat, wine and dine with them. I made myself available. I listen to their yearnings when they need me. They trust me and believe me because I am not a fair weather politician.
“The people of Yagba know I won’t mislead them. That is why they come to me on Thursday for deliberation towards Aug. 29 Governorship primaries.
“We are making consultations to go for the best candidate that will serve the people of Yagba satisfactorily. We want the best for Kogi and Yagba.
“I promise to lead them right and not mislead them. I am ready to be the Moses of Yagba land,” he said.
Meseko assured the people of Yagba that he will be a good Ambassador of the Federal Constituency and lead them right before the Nov. 16 gubernatorial election.
