The Igala Progressive Youth Forum has congratulated Engineer Aliyu Ezu-Momoh on his emergence as Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Kogi State chapter, describing his election as the dawn of a new era for the ruling party in the state.
The Forum, in a statement signed by its President, Hon. Usman Isiaka, in Ganaja-Lokoja, said the outcome of the State Congress reflected the collective will of party faithful and signposted a renewed commitment to unity and progressive leadership.
Engineer Ezu-Momoh was overwhelmingly elected at the State Congress of the party, an exercise that drew stakeholders and delegates from across the 21 local government areas of the state. The atmosphere at the venue was charged with enthusiasm as party members expressed optimism that the new leadership would reposition the APC for greater cohesion and electoral strength.
Hon. Isiaka noted that the emergence of Ezu-Momoh “marks the beginning of a new chapter anchored on inclusiveness, grassroots mobilization and strategic consolidation of the party’s structures across the state.”
According to him, the Igala Progressive Youth Forum remains confident in the capacity of the new chairman to foster reconciliation among party members and deepen internal democracy.
“We extend our warmest congratulations to Engineer Aliyu Ezu-Momoh on this well-deserved victory. His leadership credentials and longstanding commitment to the ideals of the APC will undoubtedly steer the party toward greater heights in Kogi State,” the statement read.
The Forum further pledged its total support for the new state executive under Ezu-Momoh, assuring that the youth bloc would continue to mobilize at the grassroots to strengthen the party’s base.
Reiterating its unalloyed loyalty to the administration of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, the group described him as the “Chief Servant of Kogi State” whose government, it said, is committed to sustaining the developmental strides recorded so far.
The youth body urged party members to close ranks and work in synergy with the new leadership to ensure stability and progress within the APC fold.
