The All Progressives Congress, APC, has condemned the attack on the party’s Deputy Governorship candidate, Chief James Faleke in Ayetoro Gbedde, on Sunday.

APC chairman of Ijumu Local Government, Mr Taofeek Isah, decried the attack while speaking with newsmen in Lokoja yesterday.

Taofeek, who described the attack on the campaign convoy and supporters of Faleke as barbaric and uncalled for, charged security agencies to bring the perpetrators of the dastardly act to book.

He said, “the party will not tolerate any act of indiscipline, anyone found wanting would be sanctioned. Chief Faleke is a son of Ijumu that cannot be rejected. The people of Ijumu are happy with his political antecedents.”
