The Accountant General of Kogi State, Dr. Habibat Oyiza Onumoko, on Tuesday, led a high-powered delegation to the residence of the Executive Chairman of Okehi Local Government Area, Hon. Amoka Eneji Monday, to commiserate with him over the death of his beloved mother, Mama Rekiya Alice Amoka.
According to a statement issued by Hon. Maliki Razaki Ozovehe, Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to Okehi LG Chairman, Dr. Onumoko was accompanied by the Chairman of the Local Government Service Commission, Hon. Adams Adabenege, the RUWASSA Boss, Hon. Ibrahim Ahovi, and other senior officials.
Speaking during the visit, Hon. Amoka expressed deep appreciation to Dr. Onumoko and her entourage for identifying with him and his family despite their busy official engagements.

He described the gesture as a show of true leadership, compassion, and unity, which reflects the values of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo’s administration.
He further noted that the visit was not only consoling but also a demonstration of love, brotherhood, and solidarity.
“As I continue to honor the legacy of my late mother, I urge us all to remain united under the visionary leadership of our Governor, working together for peace, progress, and development,” Hon. Amoka said.

The Okehi LG boss also prayed for God’s blessings upon all who stood with his family during the period of grief.
