As Kogi State marks and Celebrate its 22 anniversary of state creation, the State Deputy Governor Yomi Awoniyi has called on the people to remain united in the pursuit of the ideals of the founding fathers of the State.
The Deputy Governor in a good will message to the State Governor, Capt Idris Wada and people of the State, described the avowed commitment shown by the State Governor to transform the state’s Industrial and Agricultural sectors as future hope for the State.
The Deputy Governor who commended past leaders that have ruled the State, described the steps so far taken by the present administration as purposeful, focus and with a clear vision to take the State to its promised land.
The Deputy Governor used the 22 anniversary of the State creation to solicit support for the administration of Capt Idris Wada, noting that attaining the desired expectations of the citizenry requires the collective efforts of all and sundry.
The efforts already shown by the present administration, Awoniyi disclosed aims at job creation for the state’s teeming youths, improving the State’s economy as well as diversifying the State’s economy,said the state would achieve its expectation earlier than expected if the people key into the transformation vision of the state Governor.
Awoniyi, called on the people of the state to irrespective of their differences work for the collective interest of the State, the present generation and those yet unborn.
