The King of Kogi, King Trinity Ayo Balogun has emerged 1st runner up to clinch the title of Mr Nigeria International Global at the Mr and Miss Nigeria International 2021/2022 event.
This title has also earned him the right to represent Nigeria at Mister Global World 2022 and Mister World Supermodel 2022, both in Thailand.
King Trinity, who also doubles as Mr Kogi, represented Kogi state, his home base to become the only contestant from the North to qualify for the grand finale alongside contestants from Lagos, Imo, Edo, Delta and other states.
The event which held at the Sheba Event Centre in Ikeja, Lagos state on October 31st had top celebrities grace the occasion to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the brand.
“Getting to the National stage is a dream come true. I have always wanted opportunities like this to showcase the positivity I socialise with. I want to thank God for this title because He graced and endowed me for this crown. A big gratitude to my parents for their tireless support. They were practically my campaign managers all through the contest. Special thanks to my people in Kogi state, my social families; Abuja Mood Housed Dynasty, and Tribb Island in Kogi state. Their members are amazing and supportive people,” he said.
Speaking on his next line of action, he said “now, it is time to work. I am a community service advocate and will use my office to reach out to communities lacking basic amenities. Secondly, I have to look good and educate myself for the international contest. It’s paramount Nigeria is well represented”
It is expedient to note that Queen Mercy Atang, 2021 Semi-finalist of the Big Brother Naija show was 2015 Miss Nigeria International and 2017 Ms International World Classic. Other notable winners of this prestigious pageant are Monday Matthew, Triumph Moses, Msoo Vershima, Jazzy Ogaga, amongst others.
