The new drive to keep Lokoja, Kogi State Capital clean, received a boost with the donation of several unit of brush cutter machines.
Making the donation in Lokoja today, Boboye Famuyibo, Regional Manager, Medi Health International limited, said the donation followed the seriousness the state government attaches to cleanliness and beautification of lokoja.
Famuyibo,explained that the brush cutters which have advantage over the slasher and pushing mall,is best suited for lokoja environment.
The Regional Manager commended the steps so far taken by the State Government in making lokoja habitable,assured of his agency’s support at all time in ensuring that government’s goal is attained.
Receiving the Brush Cutters on behalf of Capt Idris Wada, the Kogi State Governor, his Deputy, Arc Yomi Awoniyi disclosed that the State Government will not leave any stone upturned in its determination to make the capital city clean.
Awoniyi,described the gesture to donate to the beautification policy of the present administration as laudable urged indigenes living within lokoja metropolis to key into governments intention by ensuring a safe and clean environment.
