The Kogi State Independent Electoral Commissioner, representing Kabba/Bunu/Ijumu and Yagba Federal constituencies in the commission, Chief George Funsho Ojo has commended Governor Yahaya Bello’s efforts at providing quality road infrastructures in Kabba metropolis and other local government areas across the state, stressing that the Governor has proved to be detribalized leader.
He made the commendation in Kabba over the weekend shortly after he visited some of the ongoing road projects, which according to him, will be the first time Kabba metropolis will be witnessing such a monumental infrastructural development in the community.
He said the gesture of the Governor has given the metropolis a facelift being the senatorial headquarters of Kogi west, pointing out that he is proud to associate himself with the new direction administration led by the pragmatic, amiable and dynamic Governor.
He also used the opportunity to commend the member representing Kabba/Bunu who doubles as the Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Matthew Kolawole for his untiring efforts at facilitating tangible projects like the roads to the constituency, urging him to continue to do his best for the people.
He said Kabba community and indeed the constituency has never had it so good since 1960, noted the multimillion naira projects in the area are pointers to the fact that their representative, the Speaker is doing well.
He said Governor Yahaya Bello has written his name in gold for the approval for construction of Iyah – Kakun and Kabba – Olle – Iluke roads which will form parts of the governor’s legacy projects in the area.
Chief George said when those roads are completed, the communities in those routes would have been transformed as there will be comfortable access roads to move their farm produce to the urban areas to sell.
He called on Nigerians to support and rally round a young man like Governor Yahaya Bello to emerge as the President of the country come 2023 to replicate his giant strides in security, infrastructural development, human capital development, unifying and managing the country’s diversities.
