Ahead of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) primaries, the aspiration of Comrade Tosin Adeyanju (Kakaki), the Special Assistant- Protocol, to the Honorable Minister of State for Power, Mohammed Wakil, has received the backing of party leaders in his Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu federal constituency.
Adeyanju , who is contesting the Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency seat has been lauded for his kind gestures to community leaders, as well as donation of chairs and the renovation of the party office in his ward (Ayere) in Ijumu Local Government.
Party leaders who have expressed their support for his aspiration described Adeyanju as a dynamic and kindhearted young man, adding,”we are abreast of the support you have given to several youths from this constituency and Okunland in general during national youth engagements.”
While assuring Adeyanju of the party’s support for his aspiration, he noted that the late father of the aspirant was among the few persons who worked tirelessly for the creation of Kogi State.
“Your late father played a great role in the creation of Kogi State and we also recalled that he brought the only Secondary School in Ayere town. It is worthy of note that you have taken after his philanthropic gesture.
“We are very proud of what you are doing in Abuja and beyond in the interest of Kogi State. We indeed appreciate the renovation of the ward office and the chairs you gave us. We will support your aspiration,” the elder said.

The aspirant, who has visited several wards in his constituency promised to continue to defend the interest of Okunland and Kogi State.
