It was the great Obafemi Awolowo who famously averred in his book ‘The People’s Republic’ in the year 1968 that “Man is not born to grope in the face of adverse environmental circumstances and conditions: he is ordained, and endowed with the capacity, to comprehend the universe, conquer his immediate surroundings, and rule the world. But first, he must understand the world and all its phenomena: he must do so systemically and scientifically”
Fellow Kabba/Bunu constituents, permit me to bring solidarity greetings to you all with the above declarations of the late sage in mind, especially at this perilous point in time when things appeared to be stagnated; salaries not paid; security of lives and properties not guaranteed, youth unemployment and underemployment on astronomical increase and the state of my beloved constituency and her glorious provincial status, under the colonial era, are gradually vanishing.
It is sad to note that Kabba/Bunu Constituency is now in a state of quagmire. Except we collectively rise up to face the numerous challenges posed to our development, we may have to continue like this for more years. God forbid!
This is why I am calling on you to join me and the Unity Party of Nigeria (UPN), a party that considers the people first with an achievable manifesto that centres on the cardinal principles of free and qualitative education, rural-urban integration, preventive and curative health care system that will help us to transform our constituency.
Today’s Kabba/Bunu constituency is worse-off and needs urgent attention to avoid the imminent problems of the future.
We deserve a better deal and only a revolutionary and passionate Friend of the Masses (FOM) like me can bring the desired change that we truly seek.
I humbly present myself to reposition our constituency for the overall national development with a clarity of thoughts and a sound knowledge about policies formulations agenda which are people oriented, issues driven, development focused and programmatically packaged.
Be rest assured that with Sheyi Babaeko, Kabba/Bunu constituency shall be great again. Together, we shall build Kabba/ Bunu constituency to become a Mega City that we can all be proud of.
With a Bachelor of Science in Local Government Administration from Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), the best University in South of Sahara Africa and Master’s degree in Conflict, Development and Security from the prestigious University of Leeds, U.K, Kabba/Bunu constituency can now be in a safe hands of a responsive and responsible personality .
My first one hundred days in office will have set the whole constituency on the road to recovery and redemption with a mobile clinic attached with an ambulance service equipped with a functional oxygen and drugs to treat accident victims and medical emergencies, free internet access and the total upgrading of our schools’ libraries.
