Our dear upward mobile Governor, greetings sir.
We will like to use this opportunity to congratulate you once again on your Supreme Court victory, congratulations sir.
We will also use this medium to say thank you for the numerous projects you are doing for us across Kogi state; the electrification project of Kogi East, the new face of Kogi State Polytechnic, the post Covid-19 stimulus fund you released to our economy, the roads, new Confluence University and the most important, human empowerment.
We are so sure that the youth of Kogi state will forever be grateful to you for empowering and making them relevant in politics. Thank you for coming to Kogi state in such a time as this, you are indeed a God sent to us. God bless you sir.
Sir, concerning the coming council election in our State, we will like to call your attention to a young man who really believed in New Direction Agenda. His name is Seyi Bello.
Sir, during your re-election, Seyi Bello branded cars for your campaign across our local government. He mobilised youths, supported women with money during campaigns and encouraged them to vote for you.
On the day of your election sir, Seyi Bello gave himself for you at the poll and until he gave one of the best results he did not rest.
Your election was not his first success at the poll. He stood by Honorable Wemi Jones, the commissioner of education, Science and Technology, on his election day for House of Reps.
If other APC members worked for Honorable Wemi Jones the way ‘Seyi Bello did, Honorable Wemi Jones would have been in the green chamber by now and we are sure that Honorable Wemi will not deny the efforts of this young man during his election.
The Honorable Speaker’s victory at the poll would not also be completed if ‘Seyi Bello’s name is not mentioned.
He gave his best to the victory of the Rt. Honorable Speaker at the poll and we are also sure that the Speaker can attest to this.
Sir, we have done our findings and discovered that his name has not been mentioned to you by our political leaders for all that ‘Seyi Bello has done for our great party in our local government.
Sir, the local government election is upon us and our dear Seyi Bello has shown interest in becoming the Chairman of Kabba/Bunu council.
We therefore present this young man to you and beg that you please endorse him for us.
Seyi Bello is a good young man, humble, loving, caring and accessible, he is a grassroots mobiliser.
We believe he will represent you well and he will serve the good people of Kabba/Bunu local government very well also.
We want to use this opportunity to also plead to the leaders of Kabba/Bunu to consider ‘Seyi Bello for this assignment.
We call on our leader Prince Mathew Kolawole, the Rt. Honorable Speaker of our dear state. We call on Commander Jerry Omodara, the State Security Adviser to the State Government. We call on Honorable Wemi Jones, the commissioner for Education, Science and Technology and all our political leaders in Kabba/Bunu to give us Seyi Bello in Kabba/Bunu.
We also call on our able Chief of Staff to the State Governor, Pharm. Abdulkareem Asuku Jamiu, and our dear Senator Smart Adeyemi to look into this matter for us in Kabba/Bunu local government.
Seyi Bello is qualified, the rotation arrangement in the local government is in his favour. He is from Bunu axis of the local government and his ward has not produced Executive Chairman before.
Your Excellency Sir, Seyi Bello is a people’s person, he has capacity and we believe he will make you proud.
We ask with all humility that you give us Seyi Bello sir.
God bless the people’s Governor as you consider our request Sir.
We remain politically and faithfully yours,
– Alegbemi Femi Sunday
