A wave of jubilation swept through the serene grounds of Chronicle International Schools, Idah, as pupils, students, teachers, and parents gathered on Friday to celebrate the school’s graduation ceremony with pomp and pageantry.
The event, held at the school’s expansive campus along Inachalo Road—beside the popular Adija Clinic—featured a vibrant funfair and the presentation of prestigious awards to outstanding students, including the valedictorian and salutatorian of each class.
Dressed in resplendent outfits that radiated pride and promise, the young graduands basked in an atmosphere filled with music, competitive games, and heartfelt cheers. The celebration, according to attendees, was not merely a festivity but a refreshing epilogue to a rigorous academic term.
Speaking at the event, Architect Friday, Chairman of the Parents-Teachers Forum (PTF), lauded the school management for its unwavering commitment to academic excellence and student welfare. “Graduation is an exciting time. It marks both an ending and a beginning,” he said. “It’s warm memories of the past and big dreams for the future. I am grateful to the teachers for the positive impact they have made on pupils and students’ academic journey.”
Mr. Friday, who is a professional architect, also praised the school’s infrastructure, describing the learning environment as conducive, accessible, and thoughtfully designed. “The physical and academic structure of Chronicle International Schools endeared my heart to enroll my child in the institution,” he noted. “When students feel comfortable and engaged in their learning space, they are more likely to participate actively and succeed. I encourage every parent to consider this institution—it is a future-proof institution with a global mindset.”
The event’s tone was further enriched by the remarks of the School Director, Pastor Elijah, who underscored the importance of celebrating academic milestones. “We organized this event to not only entertain our pupils but also to motivate them by awarding excellence. When hard work is celebrated, it inspires a culture of ambition and discipline,” he explained.

On transportation and pupils/students’ safety, Pastor Elijah made a compelling case for continued investment in education as a “capital project,” particularly emphasizing the benefits of the school’s home-to-school transport system. “A secure and reliable transport system fosters punctuality, convenience, and academic consistency,” he said. “Parents must view education not as a cost, but as a lifelong investment in their children’s future.”
The ceremony, covered by the school’s Press Club, also provided parents an opportunity to connect, share insights, and collectively affirm their support for the institution’s vision and values. Many parents expressed deep appreciation for the memorable experience, reiterating their confidence in the school’s future-oriented curriculum and ethical leadership.
As the sun set over Idah, the echoes of laughter, applause, and music painted a lasting memory—a day where learning met celebration, and hope wore the beaming faces of children poised to shape the future.
