Former Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris has described former Minister of Police Affairs, Major-General David Medaiyese Jemibewon as detrabalised and patriotic Nigerian who believes strongly in the development of Kogi state and the entire nation.
In a statement issued in Abuja on Monday to commemorate Jemibewon’s 80th birthday, the Alhaji Ibrahim commended the former military governor of defunct western state for his contributions to political and economic development of old Kwara and present Kogi states.
The ex-Kogi governor said Jemibewon’s untiring efforts after so many decades of occupying leadership positions in Nigeria is a testament of good patriotism and perseverance.
He prayed God grant Jemibewon more years in service to his father land.
