Iyara Community Appreciates Hon James Faleke for Donating Solar Powered Street Lights

People of Iyara community, the headquarters of Ijumu local government area of Kogi state, have expressed appreciation to the member representing Ikeja Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, Hon. James Abiodun Faleke for donating 27 solar street lights to the community.

A statement by Alh. Aliyu Badaki, National President of Iyara Development Association (IDA), described the gesture of the outstanding Federal Lawmaker as a timely intervention, coming at the time that the country is battling with security challenges and epileptic power supply.

The statement reads “Iyara Community is happy to announce the receipt of 27 Solar powered street lights from Hon. Chief James Abiodun Faleke, member representing Ikeja Federal Constituency at the Green Chamber. On behalf of the people of Iyara land, we express our profound gratitude to Hon. Faleke for remembering the Iyara Community in his philanthropic gesture.

“We do not take this for granted as a Community, this will further enhance the light up Iyara Project, aimed at providing illumination to the Community especially at night towards exposing those using darkness to perpetrate their nefarious activities.”

According to Alh. Badaki, the community is happy and grateful for the gesture and prayed to reward and grant Hon. Faleke the grace to do more for God and humanity.
