Nature quite has it that “no regiment of an army can stop an idea that has come with time”. Unarguably, political reign is an idea that its manifestation is in the expression of the popular wish of the people. However, in a keenly contested election like the one witnessed for Idah house of assembly sit, effort and divine providence is more of the victory than human efforts.
Not minding the dynamics that accompanied it, the much anticipated election petitions tribunal Judgement has settled the dusts. The majorly “ogegele” ward cynosure electoral struggle which the team of tribunal judges unanimously upheld the election of Hon Haruna Idoko Musa has supposedly end all speculation. Hence, “It is ok for UK, let HIM settle down in delivering dividends to the people” for all genuine aspirations are borne out of intentions to improve the socioeconomic status of the electorates.
It is worthy to note here that the election has neither a winner or loser as both contenders narrowly gained their feet in all the phases that has been experienced from far back March 2015 when the maiden election was conducted. Thus, the important lesson therefore is that in whatever struggle we shall engage in, it is never over until it’s over.

Finally, I want to use this medium in calling on Hon. Ukwubile Ochijenu to accept the judgment in good faith by ignoring further advise that shall boarder on seeking redress at the appellate court. Then, my unreserved felicitation goes to Hon Haruna Idoko Musa as well as the good people of Idah local government area.
I wish you good health, divine guidance, a successful tenure and a reserved thank you which shall follow upon effective services delivery in 2019.
