IPYF Hail Members as Court Seals Ibaji Liaison Office

The leadership of Ibaji Progressive Youth Foundation (IPYF) has applauded the recent sealing of Ibaji local government area liaison office in Idah.

The Kogi State High Court, sitting in Idah, had on March 4, 2025 ordered the sealing of Ibaji LGA Liaison Office in Idah following a suit filed by IPYF.

Justice Bamidele Aina also ruled that Ibaji local government council and the Chairman, Emmanuel Onuche, cease from carrying out day-to-day business or administrative activities at the liaison office without further delay.

In a statement issued by the National President, Comrade Apeh Kelvin, on Tuesday, IPYF expressed gratitude to members for their unwavering support and dedication throughout legal process.

“The recent sealing of the IBAJI liaison office by the court marks a significant victory for us, and it would not have been possible without your steadfast commitment.

“From the moment we filed our processes to the delivery of the judgment, you stood tall and united. I am proud to be part of such a passionate group (Ibaji Progressive Youth Foundation).

“I would also like to extend a special thank you to Like-minds, our supporters. Your calls, advice and others played crucial roles in our fight. Together, we have fought a just and noble battle, and I believe history will remember our efforts kindly,: the statement read.

IPYF charged members and Ibaji citizens to be vigilant and report to to the group whenever they discover the local government officials operating or sharing any items belonging to Ibaji people at Idah, either in a hotel, individual apartment or open field.

“As we move forward, let us continue to stand for what is right and work towards the progress of Ibaji.

“Our people at home deserve quality and good representation and that can only be achieve when the government is nearer to them.”
