Insecurity: NIPCO Filling Station Kabba a Responsible Business Entity – IPMAN

In the last 48 hours or thereabout, the attention of the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria IPMAN, (Kogi West) has been drawn to a news bulletin emanating from the stable of Kabba – Bunu LGA authority labelling NIPCO Filling Station, Kabba as “aiding / abbeting criminal fuel supply network.”

1. The Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria IPMAN (Kogi West) want to state unequivocally that NIPCO Filling Station, Kabba has been honest, diligent and prudent in their business dealings with the general public.
2. That NIPCO Filling Station Kabba at no point in time engage in act either by omission or commission aide criminal elements through supply of fuel or other logistics that could be inimical to the safety of the people around their business environment.
3. That NIPCO Filling Station, Kabba has been a responsible and responsive business entity with proven integrity, probity and stewardship and also engage in their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
4. That the said truck has been buying fuel from other filling stations in & around Kabba metropolis for quite a long time. Therefore, their business dealings is not peculiar to NIPCO Filling Station Kabba alone.
5. That it has been established by a Royal father from the area where the truck operates that it actually belongs to a late business tycoon in Kiri axis.
6. That NIPCO Filling Station, Kabba doesn’t have any personal relationship with the owner/ users of the truck apart from the buying and selling of fuel products.
7. IPMAN also attest to the fact that NIPCO Filling Station, Kabba will continue to be alive to it’s responsibilities – law – abiding, safeguard and protect the overall interest of their business environment.
8. That NIPCO Filling Station, Kabba could not be tagged as part/ body that provides logistical support sustaining criminal supply of fuel to suspected bandits or criminal activities.
9. That the allegation of aiding and abetting criminal elements or sustaining criminal activities is malicious, falsely fabricated and preposterous and so doesn’t hold an atom of truth in its entirety.
10. That NIPCO Filling Station, Kabba is in absolute support of all efforts geared towards exterminating criminals / banditry activities, thereby restoring peace, calm and tranquility in not just Kabba -Bunu LGA but, Kogi State and Nigeria as a whole.
