Chairman/CEO of Iduh Integrated Services, Chief Peter Yakubu Iduh, has called on Nigerians to come together and act positively to ensure that the country overcomes her major national challenges.
The popular pharmacist, business mogul and philanthropist made the statement in his message to mark the 60th anniversary of Nigeria’s independence from British colonial rule.
“As Nigerians, we all need to embrace our challenges and tackle them with all seriousness.
“With unity and selflessness, we can overcome our challenges and and attain our destined position as a global leader.
“Over the years the actions and inactions of the leaders and ordinary citizens of the country contributed massively in derailing the dreams of the founders of the nation.
“It is however never too late to jettison mundane issues such as ethnicity and religious bigotry and embrace peace and cooperation to enable us to attain social, economic and infrastructural growth,” he stated.
Chief Iduh congratulated Nigerians on reaching a new milestone in the nation’s history and prayed that God will grant the leaders and citizens the power to always do what is right and just.
