Independence Message From Office of Senior Special Assistants to Kogi Governor on Local Content

The Senior Special Assistants to Kogi State Governor, Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo on Local Contents I & II, Hon. Sanni Nuhu and Kamaldeen Toyin, wish Nigeria a happy 64th independence anniversary.

At the recent gathering of SSAs at the Kogi State Government House, Hon. Sanni Nuhu and Dr. Kamaldeen Toyin delivered a heartwarming message on the celebration of Nigeria’s freedom and integration.

“As we celebrate this noteworthy occasion, we reflect on Kogi State’s remarkable progress in promoting local content and empowering our host communities. Our state is richly endowed with natural resources, including limestone, iron ore, lithium, coal, and others, which provide immense opportunities for economic growth of Kogi State citizens.”

The governors’ aides highlighted Local Content Initiatives, including Kogi State’s Agricultural Revolution (KOGRAR) which will enhance agricultural productivity and food security.

“Confluence Small and Medium Enterprises (COSME). This was also put in place to upgrade local entrepreneurs and support job creation. Also, Kogi State Infrastructure Development Fund (KSIDF), to develop critical infrastructure for economic growth.

“These initiatives demonstrate Governor Ododo’s commitment to harnessing local resources for sustainable development.

“As we commemorate this anniversary, let’s rekindle our hope and unity. We must work together to build a brighter future for ourselves, our children, and Nigeria.

“In light of these noble reasons, let us continue to promote local content, drive economic growth, and create opportunities for our citizens through the full-fledged operation of the principle of local contents.”
