The Commissioner of Police, Kogi State Command, CP Miller Dantawaye, has charged the newly graduated officers of Course 7, from the ongoing in-house refresher training, to uphold professionalism, commitment, hard work, and improved service delivery.
He gave this charge during their graduation ceremony held in Lokoja.
In a statement issued by SP William Ovye Aya, the Command’s spokesperson, the CP emphasized that improved mental capacity and weapons handling are critical for sustaining the ongoing onslaught against criminal elements in the state.
He urged the officers to apply the knowledge and skills acquired during the one-week intensive training to ensure better and more effective service delivery in their respective areas of deployment.

He commended their level of commitment, enthusiasm, and resilience exhibited during the training, noting that with the performance displayed, the Command is poised to experience enhanced service delivery.
The CP also commended the Commanding Officer, 37 PMF Lokoja, ACP Abubakar Umar, for successfully coordinating the training exercise, as well as the instructors for their unwavering dedication to building the capacity of officers in the Command.


He further disclosed that the next batch of trainees, Course 8, will commence their one-week training on Monday, 12th May, 2025.
