**Condoles family, Speaker House of Representatives
Kogi East senator, Atai Aidoko Ali has described the death of his age long friend and colleague, Alhaji Buba Jibrin as a great shock.
In a statement released from his office, Aidoko commiserated with the people of Lokoja-Kogi Federal constituency and Kogi state on his demise.
“The death of Rt. Hon. Buba Jibril has created a big vacuum in Kogi when people are yearning for good leadership at this critical period where the current people saddled with steering the ship of the state have turned the whole scenario to a child’s play,” he said.
He recalled his relationship with Buba Jibrin at the lower chamber of the National Assembly which he described as unforgettable. He recalled his contributions towards making robust laws and programs that will take the state to greater heights.
Senator Aidoko further described the late lawmaker as a popular grassroot mobiliser and an astute politician, who won election four times with less rancour and political gimmicks because of the general acceptance from the people of his constituency.
He prayed for the repose of his soul of the deceased and advised the family to bear the irreparable loss as the Almighty God knows better.
