The Ilajo Royal family of Kabba has sent a congratulatory letter to the newly appointed Comptroller- General of Federal Fire Service, Prince Samuel Adeyemi Okumode and said his appointment was well deserved.
In a letter signed by the President-General of Ilajo Descendants Union, Dr Samuel Alori and the Public Relations officer, Mr Oluseye Brown Toluhi, the royal family said the appointment did not come as a surprise as Okumode is a thorough bred professional who is well known for his robust hard work and extra ordinary diligence.
The Ilajo Royal family also commended President Bola Tinubu for finding the new Controller General worthy of the enviable position and expressed optimism that Okumode will discharge his utmost best to move the organization to a higher height.
The letter which was made available to newsmen in Lokoja reads in part:
