Anything written is a document. The strength of any society comes as a result of it vibrant youths but ours is gradually becoming the opposite.
Becoming the opposite in the capacity that insults, lies and blackmails on our brothers/sisters, fathers/mothers and even on some of our elders are becoming paramount amongst us, all in the name of politics.
True Igalas are respecters of culture, tradition and religion, insults and lies aimed at tarnishing someone’s image are not part of our tradition. Insults and lies aimed at tarnishing someone’s image are different from telling someone the truth. Destroying people’s marriages, destroying peoples trust built on others, kills faster than Ebola virus. Please, let’s desist from this bad act. At times we say wrong words, but when cautioned, we are always quick in saying ”I told him the truth”.
Our culture Igala is a respecter of Truth and not lies, love and not hate. It is a respecter of a good heart and not a respecter of an insultive heart and it is also a respecter of elderly and not a respecter of a child who insult his/her elders. We are from this root, being you overseas and otherwise.
In recent times, mobile phones (Facebook, WhatsApp, twitter, Instagram and other social media) have become one of the quickest and fastest means of passing information to our environs.
My friends, there are no gains, even though some are paid for insulting people online.
For me, I DON’T WANT THAT KIND OF JOB.
We were created differently, uniquely in our various ways. I must not really insult you by correcting you. We should also have it at the back of our minds that, we all have different opinions on issues.
On most occasions, we even go as far as insulting people we have never met before in our lives. Please, this is wrong!
I am not saying all this because I am perfect, as humans we all have our shortcomings.
