Igalamela-Odolu Vice Chairman Pays School Fees of 18 Less Privileged Students

The executive vice chairman of Igalamela/Odolu local government council, Hon. Aishat Acho Musa has come to the aid of no fewer than eighteen students from three different primary and secondary schools in Ajaka.

Beneficiaries, who are mainly orphans, were selected according to the severity of their individual financial needs.

The vice chairman made the payments in person during a visit to the selected schools – Islamiyah Secondary School, New Foundation Nursery and Primary School, and New Generation Nursery and Primary School – all in Ajaka. 

The Principal of Islamiyah Secondary School, Ajaka, Alhaji Shehu Sanni commended the present administration in the local government council on its commitment to the growth of education in the local government.

He also praised the vice chairman over her “outstanding charitable gestures towards easing the financial rigours of less privileged children in the area.”

Musa Ogohi, brother of Sumeya Ogohi (one of the beneficiaries) also praised the vice chairman’s noble gesture and offered prayers for God’s blessings upon her. 

Yusuf Abdulkadiri, spokesperson of Ojofa Elite Forum, a popular youths group in the area, also praised Hon. Aishat Acho Musa for including two schools in Ojofa among the selected schools to benefit from her charitable works. 

The Vice Chairman voiced her commitment to uplifting the needy in the society. She described the event as the first phase and promised to commence another phase of the exercise soon.
