Igalamela/Odolu Vice Chairman Hailed for Donating to Secondary Schools

The Vice Chairman of Igalamela/Odolu local government area, Hon. Aishat Acho Musa has been commended for her donations in support of schools and orphaned students.

The Principal of Government Special Science College, Ajaka, Mallam Ibrahim Musa gave the commendations during the 6th Inter-House Sports Competition of the college.

Hon. Aishat Musa was the invited chairperson of the occasion which also attracted guests from the Science Technology and Teaching Service Commission (STETSCOM), political office holders, principals and staffers of various secondary schools, students from various schools and major stakeholders in the area.

After a brief remark, the Vice Chairman announced a generous donation in support of ongoing construction of an abandoned block of three classrooms and offered to pay the fees of six orphaned students.

Mallam Musa commended the Vice Chairman for showing “sincere concerns” for the growth of education in the local government.

“This is the seventh school she has supported in this manner within the short period she has been in office. She is a model to younger generations and a shining light among her pairs,” he also stated.
