After seeking the face of God, and in the quiet of his family, and after listening to the clarion call of his people, Comrade Abubakar Abdullahi has accepted to present himself to serve as a member of the state assembly representing Igalamela/Odolu LGA.
He has been reaching out to opinion leaders, influential groups and other stakeholders to trumpet his intention . He is leaving no stone unturned in ensuring that his names are established before the electioneering.
At present, he has the firm control of his people, and his youthfulness and mien are added advantages, and also for the fact that he is from Ajaka Ward 2 tells a lot when it comes to political balancing.
Some described him as an astute and shrewd philanthropist by many, he leaves no-one in doubt that he would certainly go for the top job in the state in the future, which could be 2019 . Although he has indicated his interest, many say it may not be an easy ride for him as 2019 promises to be another titanic battle, given the number of gladiators in the fray.
He is already seeking the support of party members and reaching out to interest groups and trade unions to get their support to clinch the party ticket ahead of 2019 .
Comrade Abubakar Abdullahi, arrives at his country home for Eidil – il – Kabir and shouts of ‘next legislator, next legislator’ rents the air.
His fame is growing due to his youthfulness, cool mien and philanthropic gestures . He is pursuing his ambition tirelessly. Comrade Abubakar Abdullahi is sure to pick his party’s ticket for the 2019 election.
For now, only men are brave enough to voice their ambition. The stage is, perhaps, waiting for women to join the race.
In conclusion, I wish to say without fear of contradiction that Comrade Abubakar Abdullahi is a symbol of unity, visionary, egalitarian and, most importantly, a great patriot whose love for Kogi State and her people is infectious. He is a man who has earned a reputation as a charismatic and disciplined leader; creative and hardworking, a broad-minded fellow with strategic insight who brings integrity, compassion, pro-poor perspective and intellectual dimension to bear in tackling tough national issues; a man whose loyalty to friendship and bridge-building skills are remarkable . Indeed, the great people of Igalamela/Odolu LGA have every reason to proudly endorse Comrade Abubakar Abdullahi. With Comrade Abdullahi in the saddle, the future of Igalamela/Odolu LGA is truly great .
