As political parties strategizes for which candidate will respectively favour them in the fast approaching Kogi State Governorship elections, the political atmosphere becomes more tensed, interesting and competitive as prominent Kogi politicians airs their fundamental opinions. Some of these came from groups/organizations, former and present aspirants and some order freelance spectators.
“The Enemies of Kogi State Call for Wada’s Continuous Stay in Office by Odih Daniel”. After reading details from this article as at when published; I feel the pain of a sincere and common Kogite which I commiserate with.
“Igala People Are The Architect of Kogi’s Problems – Dangana Ocheja”. This headline was fascinating and I was anxious jumping at it. After scrutinizing the details, then I got the difference between a ‘Common Kogite’ and a ‘Political Gladiator’ who’s speaking ‘Politically’ as host at a Forum of Igala All Progressive Congress in Abuja, playing host to an APC aspirant, Air Vice Marshal Salihu Atawodi.
Dangana Ocheja, a one time Senator and a former governorship aspirant. He was actually on the leak of his tongues on this ‘absurdic’ and ‘axiomic’ speech to sell another ‘Igala’ Guber aspirant. Prince Audu Abubakar a one term former governor now 68years old, whom history has written a little favour about above his counterpart Ibrahim Idris who succeeded him and reigned for an empty 8years (two terms) in Kogi State.
He (Abubakar Audu) is actually seeking a re-run as well, alongside the incumbent Captain Idris Wada who threw the entire state into another trauma of poverty and low life. After a political oriented fellow, Dangana Ocheja has said and admitted “Igala People Are The Architect of Kogi’s Problem”.
I suppose it is a shameful fact and they (Audu, Wada, Echocho, Dangana Ocheja, AVC Atawodi) and other Igala aspirants and their supporters should bury their heads most shamefully and honorably.
I felt remorseful for my dear state.
