Kogi-born businessman and philanthropist Idris Hussein Kashim, popularly known as Idris HK, has once again demonstrated his commitment to community support by launching a ₦3 million fasting giveaway during the ongoing period of spiritual observance. The initiative, announced through his social media platforms, provides ₦10,000 each to 300 selected individuals as a gesture of relief and goodwill amid Ramadan and Christian fasting observances.
According to the giveaway details shared by Idris HK, participants are required to pray for him and for peace in Igala land while tagging his profile to enter. The distribution is being coordinated by trusted aides including Ambassador Saidat Lammie as coordinator, Israel Okayi (Chief of Staff), and Idris HK himself overseeing the process. The philanthropist emphasized the spirit of compassion, urging beneficiaries and the wider community to focus on prayers and unity.
Idris HK, the CEO of Crush Café in Abuja and founder of the Idris HK Foundation, has built a reputation for consistent philanthropy across Igala land in Kogi East. His previous interventions include commissioning boreholes, transformers, solar installations, JAMB sponsorships for students, free fuel for commercial motorcyclists, and cash relief programs in areas like Idah, Igalamela-Odolu, Okene, Anyigba, and Ankpa.
This latest giveaway aligns with his pattern of direct community assistance, particularly during religious seasons, and has drawn widespread appreciation from residents who view him as a dedicated son of the soil committed to uplifting lives without holding political office.
The foundation continues to extend its reach through sustainable projects and immediate relief efforts in Kogi State.
