The tour to the various Local Government Areas of Kogi State by Capt Idris Wada, Kogi State Governor, has been described as an attempt by the governor to constantly want to be in touch with the people towards making him have a first hand feeling of what is the priority need of the people.
Yomi Awoniyi, Deputy Governor of Kogi State stated this in Idah, Idah LGA during the thank you tour and commissioning of projects embarked upon my the State and Idah Local Government Council respectively.
Awoniyi described Capt Wada as a governor whose paramount interest is to offer selfless service that will improve the well being of the people.
The visit to Idah LGA, Awoniyi added will further assist in increase service delivery that will be offered by the Capt Wada administration as desired by the people of the area, disclosing that the state is lucky to at this point of its history have Capt Wada as governor of the State.
While the State, Awoniyi revealed is expected to enjoy more dividends of democracy in the remaining years ahead, the peoples support and prayers for the success of the administration of Capt Wada is what the state Deputy Governor disclosed is now most desired.
Awoniyi praised Capt Wada for his ability to galvanize the Council Chairmen to make service delivery their goal, and lauded the Council Chairman of Idah, Major Musa Abubakar for keeping faith with the promises he made to the people amidst financial constraints.
Awoniyi called on people of the state to remain peaceful, assuring that the best of the Governor will best be realized under an atmosphere of peace and tranquility.
