Idah Fed. Constituency: Ofu, Ibaji Community Leaders Endorse Ebije for Reps

The aspiration of Dr Ugbedeojo Paul Ebije to represent his people in the National Assembly got a huge boost as he was endorsed by women, youths and leaders in many communities across Idah federal constituency.
Dr Ebije got the endorsement by the constituents while touring the constituency to canvass for himself as the most qualified and reliable person to represent his people.
His campaign train which landed in Ejule, Ofu local government area at about 10 am in the morning was greeted to a rousing welcome by mammoth crowd who chanted “Ebije the Messiah” on top of their voices.
Dr Ebije promised to use his status as a Federal Legislator, if elected, to attract federal presence to the constituency. He stressed that his major priority would be youth empowerment through entrepreneurial skills acquisition.
“If elected, I will make sure that all the federal road across the constituency are given adequate attention and rehabilitation.
“Aside that, entrepreneurial centers would be established in all the Local Governments headquarters within the constituency to teach our youth sundry trades that would make them self-employed and reliant,” Dr Ebije said.
Reacting to the presence of Dr Ebije in their midst, the people of Ejule said apart from being youthful and vibrant, Ebije’s high level of education could give them adequate representation at the national assembly.
Speaking on behalf of the people, an APC leader in the community, Hon Omika Mohammed who is also the leader of the Door to Door Movement for Muhammadu Buhari 2019 in Ejule, thanked Dr Ebije for his contribution to the development of their community.
“The testimony around here is that Dr Ebije’s love for the youth, women and the less privileged is unrivaled, that is why the people of Ejule have all agreed to give him their maximum support,” he said.
Hon Muhammed further thanked Ebije for his unalloyed support for President Muhammadu Buhari and Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State and commended him for his effort in helping to bring the APC government to power in 2015.
In Onyedegha, the headquarters of Ibaji LGA, the story was the same; people trooped out to welcome Ebije amidst pomp and circumstances.
At Dr Ebije’s campaign organization office in the town, the aspirant’s campaign coordinator in Ibaji LGA, Hon Ugbaja Lawrence said the crowd that greeted Ebije’s rally was a proof of acceptance.
“My people have agreed to support your aspirations to represent us at the national assembly because of your credibility and pedigree,” the coordinator said.
Also speaking, Honorable Monday Apeh, who is the secretary to the Ebije’s campaign office in the LGA, and a woman leader in the area, Rita Okolo alias Chacha 1 in their separate speeches described Dr Ebije as the most qualified for the job.
Hon Monday in particular said Dr Ebije is not a political jobber, he is a Professional Medic who can be relied upon to attract development to the constituency without the fear of being misrepresented and having allowances meant for the constituency misappropriated.
