Igala Cultural Development Association (ICDA), a socio-cultural group of Igala extraction has sent a letter of appreciation to Kogi East senator, Atai Aidoko Ali for his contributions to the success of its Pprogram,’Ero Oli’ held in Anyigba.
In a letter of appreciation signed by the President of the association, Amodu Abubakar Sadiq on behalf of the board of trustees stated that the quantum and singular contribution towards the success of the program is a sign of deep commitment of the senator towards the Igala race.
The President said the action of Senator Aidoko made its program easier and the huge success achieved towards the sensitisation program of the Igala extraction on the need to embrace the natural gift of cash crops prevalent in the area.
He urged prominent Igala indigenes at home and in diaspora to emulate the philanthropic gesture exhibited by the senator so as to move the area forward in terms of drive for self sustenance in food production.
Earlier, Kogi east senator thanked the president and BOT for the honour done him, promising to key into programs and ideas that will transform the entire landscape and the people of the area.
He urged the political class to encourage and key into programs aimed at economic independent and social safety nets to the populace so as to ensure the good living of our people.
