The Management of Igala – Bassa Development Initiative (IBDI) has congratulated Dr Peter Tukara and Pharm (Mrs) Tukara Rose Lara on the conferment of the traditional titles as the Mayegun of Ayere Kingdom and the Yeye Mayegun of Ayere Kingdom respectively.
The titles were conferred on the Tukaras in Ijumu local government area of Kogi state the Alayere of Ayere Kingdom.
In a statement signed by it Executive Secretary Mr Sani Idakwo Philips, IBDI refered to the title honor of “MAYEGUN” which literally translates as one who make life easy for others granted by the Alayere of Ayere Kingdom in Ijumu LGA of Kogi state as a testament to the contributions of Dr Peter Tukara and his dear wife, Pharm (Mrs) Tukara towards the growth and development of Ayere Kingdom in Ijumu LGA and Kogi State at large.
IBDI said Dr Peter Tukura a worthy ambassador of the Igala – Bassa kingdom and prays that the good Lord continues to guide, protect and bless him and his lovely family always.
