Ibaji People Are Now Living in a Peaceful Atmosphere – Tony Ogah

Peace Ambassador, Anthony Ogah has hailed Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello for his peace initiatives in Ibaji.

In a press release sent to Kogireports, Ogah said Governor Bello’s intervention has yielded positive results in Iyano, a  community in Ibaji local government area of Kogi state.

“Following the genuine peaceful intervention of Governor Yahaya Bello by setting up a peace and reconciliation committee headed by the Deputy Governor, Elder Simon Achuba, to resolve the protracted communal crisis among my kinsmen, I wish to express my profound gratitude to the Governor and his team, especially Hon. Thomas Offor, Ibaji local govt Administrator, for the success of the peaceful resolution of the communal crisis.

“I, Ambassador Tony Ogah, on behalf of the good people of Inyano area of Ibaji local government, feels very elated seeing our brothers and sisters that have been on exile for a long time, returning home happily. Nothing compares to having and living in a peaceful atmosphere, and on this note, I celebrate the timely intervention of the state government for restoring peace to my hometown. May God bless all the parties involved, by shielding their swords and embracing the option of peace,” he said.
