Ibaji: Former NNPP Candidate, Peter Egwudah, Defects to APC

Peter Michael Egwudah, the House of Assembly candidate of New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) for Ibaji state constituency in the 2023 general elections, has defected to All Progressives Congress (APC).

Egwudah, popularly known as Agbané Ibaji, disclosed this when he visited Kogi State Deputy Governor, Comrade Joel Salifu, in his Lokoja residence on Saturday.

During his visit, Hon. Peter Egwudah revealed that he had joined the ruling party at his Ojilah ward in Ibaji local government area, and pledged his commitment to supporting the transformative leadership of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo and his Deputy in the state.

Responding, the Deputy Governor commended Egwudah for joining the All Progressives Congress (APC), saying that it is the right family to be. He encouraged him to remain steadfast and loyal to the APC and its leadership in Ibaji local government area, while assuring him of equal opportunities with existing members.

Accompanying Hon. Egwudah were Hon. Thomas Offor, Special Adviser to the Governor on Special Duties II, Hon. Gabriel Ugbena, Hon. Lucky Ukwukama, Hon. Ambrose Etiukwu, Hon.Sunday Atule, and Hon. Williams Egwudah.
