Yes, it sounds controversial. How can someone tell me that he is supporting President Muhammadu Buhari (PMB) to the core and say he is against the re-election of Buhari’s acclaimed son, Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State.
Yes, I am a strong supporter of PMB, but can never be a supporter of Yahaya Bello’s re-election in Kogi state.
Some few months back, my political mentor, President Buhari said categorically to the whole nation that:
– Don’t vote for governors who don’t pay salaries
– Vote out non- performing governor.
Unfortunately, my dear Gov. Yahaya Bello is a perfect example of those governor and hence fit into the category mentioned above.

In my state, payment of salaries (even the percentage salaries) has turned into a privilege, no longer workers right. Infrastructural facilities and social amenities have long been thrown into the dustbin. In fact, the only thriving industry in Kogi state is governmental scamming, lies, fraud and embezzlement.
Moreover, let not forget, my criticism of Gov. Bello’s administration stated years before my political mentor, PMB made those statements. Now, coupled with statement by PMB, I think I am well justified to have supported PMB and at the same time stand against the re-election of Yahaya Bello.
In my political soujorn, I believed in the ideology of President Muhammadu Buhari. I see him as a man of integrity, what ever he says he tries to actualize it.
Come November, Kogi State need a change and I am sure my political role model, President Buhari, is totally in support of the change movement in Kogi state.
