Member representing Yagba East, Yagba West and Mopamuro Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon Abejide has expressed gratitude to Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for his visit to Yagba land to flag off an important road project in area.
In a statement on Saturday, Abejide assured the Governor of his commitment and continual support for Kogi state government under his leadership.
He assured Governor Ododo that he will consider his request to join the All Progressives Congress (APC).
“Your request in joining you in the All Progressive Congress APC is in limelight and is being discussed at level of considerations. It will be looked into for a possible merger,” he said.
“Your Excellency, I want you to know that I do not speak with double mouth but speak the truth at all times, therefore, all I am saying about you is from my heart and as such whatever I say I am going to do please take my words to the bank. My support to you is one hundred percent.”
Abejide equally appreciated the Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Folashade Ayoade, the State Executives, Speaker of the State House of Assembly and all government officials that were present at the official flag of ceremony.
