Martin Luther King, Jr., said and I quote, “Human progress is neither automatic nor inevitable… Every step toward the goal of justice requires sacrifice, suffering, and struggle; the tireless exertions and passionate concern of dedicated individuals.”

Kogi State was not created in order to divide us – It will endure and flourish. It is a child of hope and the home of the brave. it is a home of faith and a place of courage, It cannot neither be broken by adversity nor demoralized by politicians whose lack conducts and moral, it was created inline with the principles of democracy and  honors – the sword of freedom.

Ladies and gentlemen, His Excellency, Alhaji Yahayah Bello, the executive governor of kogi state, appointees of new direction especially the local government administrators, the state Assemblies and the entire team members of this present Administration Ogo’ogu MD salute you all.

His Royal Highness, Alhaji Ibrahim Ado, the Ohinoyi of Ebiraland, Ohi(s) and all the Otaru in the land Ogo’ogu MD great you all.

Fathers in themselves pray, that may their children be greater than them and they labor hard in their youth to raise children with a hope for a better future. Today, we are the future you have labored for over the years and on this premises I will like to call on our gallant youths, the hope and strength of the society, the back bone of every nation to also give me their attention because our land is decaying under the watch of those who are supposed provide law and orderliness. What a shame.

On 21 Dec 2018, I was so restless, could not eat but trouble within me. the weight of this unknown burden was much on me that i could not get up from my bed. Then I called her excellency to get me a glass of water and paracetamol. I took it and suddenly a deep sleep came upon me…here come Yusuf Otaru, with tears all over his face, dripping with blood and he said “who will fight for me?…immediately I woke up and I began to pray. I know heaven want me to speak about his death but resisted and ask God to help me not to speak because of the sensitivity but never instead my head trouble me the more.

So, I beseech all to come with me today as I once again remind those in authority to wake up to justice and stop playing politics with the death of this young man Yusuf Otaru Who was murdered in cold blood by unknown gun men on the 16 Nov 2018.

His Excellency, the executive Governor Of Kogi State, Alh Yahaya Adoza Bello give me your listening ear for I think the first duty of a society and her leaders is justice. It is said, Justice delayed is justice denied, but I have come as an errant boy, who have no choice than to obey the call of divinity and as concern citizen, who believe in justice, truth, freedom and fairness to demand for justice against the killer(s) of Alhaji Yusuf Otaru, the Custodian of Aneku Cenmenti who was massacre on the 16th Nov, 2018 along Okene-Obehira road. May his soul rest in peace…Amen

Great men and women of Kogi central, and Kogi state at large, I have been patiently waiting to see the action of the government on this ugly predicament that befell us but the body language shows is going to be silent and walked on just as it happen to others who have been killed in the past.

Silence is, of course, a double edged sword. Fire can cook our food but also burn us. Silent over justice is disastrous and it can consume a nation especially when is done by decision makers in the society who are supposed to speak out and demand for justice.

When leaders who are expected to administer justice are silent over unjust killings in the land, we are left with no other options apart from two: either they lack the capacity to administer justice or they know something we don’t know which might have crippled their hands and padlocked their mouth from doing the needful.

Many have been kill in this manner, and no forensic investigation, we all mourn and forgot about it and such attitude of government can only escalate crime and evil in the society knowing fully well it will only be talk without proper investigation…this to me is incompetency and insensitive from the government.

This is the voice of Haile Selassie, He said and i quote “Throughout history, it has been the inaction of those who could have acted; the indifference of those who should have known better; the silence of the voice of justice when it mattered most; that has made it possible for evil to triumph.”

I want us to know, if nothing is done to uncover the killer of Alhaji Otaru Yusuf , in the midst of all the mention leader above, i will be press to say they are all aware of his death and remember, “Whatever possession, position we gain by sword cannot be sure or last, but position gain by  love, kindness, justice and moderation is certain and durable.”

Wait a Minute, where are the gods of the land? will you too be silent over this? where are our traditional rulers? the Ohinoyi, Ohi and Otaru(s) are you going to be silent over this too? have you ever asked who’s next? Do you think you are free and safe with this new development in the land?

The blood of this young man is crying for justice and no amount of prayers outside of Justice and Truth is enough. The Authority is silent over it and all her concern now is how to win the next election…these attitude is dangerous to a democratic society, and it weaken the foundation of democracy…Who Will Help Us? Who Will Fight The Battle For Yusuf Otaru?
Youths of Ebiraland can’t you see the handwriting on the wall? This barbaric attitude is nothing but to short you down, render you voiceless, and to shatter your dreams. will you be silent and prioritize election over your life(s)?

It was Muhammad Ali Jinnah who wrote and i quote “There are two powers in the world; one is the sword and the other is the pen. There is a great competition and rivalry between the two. There is a third power stronger than both, that of the women.”

Women if you keep silent over this killing in the land then be ready to have a  widows community soon or later. you must begin now to use your power or you loose it. Demand for justice, demand for peace and demand for Good Governance.

Almost everyone have forgotten him (Yusuf), killing of innocent soul have become a culture that we all accepted without questioning, what a backward Visionless society, a society where nothing is working, no security, no development, loss of lives every second yet we have government saddled with security and welfare of the state. They are quick to run for condolences visit but slow for justice… God Is Watching
Remember, Observe good faith and justice toward all. Cultivate peace, good governance and harmony with all.

It was Frederick Douglass who said and i quote “Where justice is denied, where poverty is enforced, where ignorance prevails, and where any one class is made to feel that society is an organized conspiracy to oppress, rob and degrade them, neither persons nor property will be safe.”

Ladies and gentlemen, His Excellency Alh Yahaya Bello, the executive Governor of Kogi State and His team Members, His Royal Highness Alh Ibrahim Ado, The Ohinoyi Of Ebiraland, and his team members, the Ohi’s and Otaru’s. You all must raise up to this challenge, invoke all the gods in the land to go after the sponsor and the killer of Yusuf Otaru, the custodian of Aneku cementi and fetch them out.

I’m for truth, no matter who tells it or against. I’m for justice, no matter who it’s for or against…What About you?

May Our God expose the killer. I curse as many that are involved in his death, they will know no peace…by sword they shall visit their grave…it does not matter how long it may take by sword you will fall…in Jesus name…and the people say…Amen. May His Soul Rest In Peace….Amen.

God Bless Kogi Central.
