Hon. Leke Joseph Abejide, has chosen to reply Senator Dino Melaye with praises, acknowledging God for making him a successful, kindhearted and well-behaved lawmaker.
Emphasizing on his local and international relevance, Abejide noted he has more grassroot appeal than the former lawmaker.
In a statement issued by the Special Adviser on Public Communications to Abejide, Bashiru Abdul Mohammed, the House of Reps member admonished constituents to continually pray for the federal constituency.
He attributed his continued national relevance as only the making of the Lord, while expressing satisfaction with his constituency for their unflinching and unrelenting support.
“Abejide, instead of dissipating energy on frivolities, emanating from an irrelevant, ill, and expired politician like one Dino Melaye, has gone to the house of his marker – God Almighty to give praise.
“All we ask from our supporters is continuous prayers for Abejide to consistently deliver on his national mandate and oath of allegiance to his people.
“Abejide’s boast is in the Lord-Almighty for continued impact and the dividends of democracy he had influenced to the entire Yagba Federal Constituency and Okun Land,” he added.
