The Administrator of Lokoja Local Government Area, Hon. Shiru Lawal has reiterated his commitment to the provision of social amenities to his people.
Shiru made the deceleration in office while receiving Sarkin- Noma Progressive Development Association
The forum delegate was led by it interim Chairman,Malam Salisu and other members which include; Barr. Musa Tunduwa legal adviser and Mohammed Sani Secretary.
The Council Boss pointed out that it is the responsibility of the government to provide basic social amenities to the people stressing that, his administration will given healthcare all the needed attention by providing drugs, safety nets, hand gloves, to cushion the sufferings of the people.
On road, he said his administration would grade it up to the new Sarkin Noma road to enhance easy access of people and vehicular movement within the areas.
He explained that the ongoing reticulation project currently going on was the cause of water scarcity affecting the area:”ive since intimate the Hon Commissioner for Water resources who assured me that the problem would be over when the job is concluded “he said.
Earlier, The Forum Chairman, Malam Salisu while expressing their appreciation,informed the administrator that they were in his office to familiarize with him and intimate him on the challenges the area is facing.
The chairman enumerated the challenges to include: lack of access road ,inadequate healthcare facilities and lack of pipe-borne water.

Musa Tunduwa, commend the foresight and the zeal of the Chief Administrator to provide the community with a borehole;” we appreciate your efforts looking at the lean resources of the Local government purse still you are able to under took the sunken of boreholes “
Tunduwa was is the legal adviser of the forum express the forum unalloyed support for the administration of Shiru and prayed Allah’s guidance and protection as he pilot the affairs the the Local Government.
