My attention was caught to a recent development by some set of persons endorsing the incumbent Governor, Captain Idris Wada for second term.
According to sources they described him as a viable alternative within the PDP that can guarantee victory of the people and the party, which on the contrary he (WADA) is an implausible candidate that the party (PDP) will ever regret of having. They mentioned the successes they wish and supposed the WADA administration should have achieved as if it were.
I then considered to check into the personality of these persons. Firstly from the source, the ‘titles’ that characterized their names were; ‘former, retired’ etc.
Looking at the economy of the Nigerian State at large, how well are they expected to cope and live?
How do they cater for their responsibilities if they don’t engage in illicit talks, shameful gathering of endorsing and lauding the condemned?
So their remuneration from resources and funds meant for development of the economy, wages and salaries of LG and State civil servants, building of infrastructures etc will keep coming.
I further went into comparison. I observed that when they all were in service, irrespective of whether civil service, public office or elected post. Their various timelines is what their WADA have before him and replaying from. Timelines full of nepotism, malfeasance, venality, impropriety, delinquency to mention but few.
All they are interested in is to siphon the remnants of the state under the WADA’s retrogressive administration.
