Hon Muhammed Yahaya Dongo has joined party stalwarts to celebrate the victory of all the chairmen and councilors elect at the local government elections, urging them to be more committed and dedicated towards good governance for the people at the grassroot.
In a statement on Sunday, he stated that this is a great call to action, especially considering the importance of local government leaders in shaping the future of their communities.
He appreciated Governor Usman Ahmed Ododo for creating enable environment for peaceful election. He noted that this great achievements wouldn’t see the light of the day without the solid foundation laid by Alhaji Yahaya Bello, the immediate past Governor of Kogi State.
Hon. Muhammed Yahaya Dongo Commended the Kogi State Independent Electoral Commission KOSIEC for a fruitful job well done, in ensuring free, fair and credible election, describing them as result-oriented bodies with quality leadership skills.
He also appreciated the youths and women across the 21 Local Government for turning out massively to vote for the APC, assuring them of a fruitful administration towards their doorsteps.
As the newly elected leaders prepare to take office, Hon Muhammed message serves as a reminder of the importance of leadership by example, effective local governance requires dedication, transparency, and accountability.
Hon Mohammed also extends special congratulations to his constituent candidate for being elected as the Chairman of Okene and Ogori-Magongo LGA in persons of Hon Ahmed Nuhu Enesi, and Hon. Rosemary Ohiezu
