As we journey ahead into 2027 general election, the mere mention of his name in the political cycle would definitely elicit varying reactions, considering his remarkable 12 years political sojourn in the green dome.
For a fact, like all political animals will do, we surely expect negative and positive thoughts and opinions about the former legislator.
One thing that is incontrovertibly correct is that the majority of Kabba – Bunu/ Ijumu Constituents’ are still yearning for Hon. Tee Jay Yusuf’s mind blowing superlative, practical and impactful legislative experience.
Over the years, the highly versatile people of Kogi West irrespective of party affiliation have come to realize the fact that Tee Jay’s unique selling point is his accessibility, humility, proactive nature, people – centered leadership demeanour, stewardship, unwavering nexus with Constituents, seeing beyond religion, tribe or myopic considerations etc
Personally, by sheer dint of hard work, commitment to work, perseverance, utmost faith in God and uncommon grace, he has carved a niche for himself in the affairs of life.
In Kogi West and beyond, Tee Jay exemplifies traits of agent of societal change through his numerous identification and support for efforts geared towards making the Society a better place to living.
In our clime where job opportunities are rare to come by, considering the fact that you must be well connected before you can be offered white collar jobs,Hon. Tee Jay has consistently cross the boaders to ensuring that he scored an impressive high grades in human capital development initiatives.
His performance in this aspect hasn’t been surpassed, at least in Kabba- Bunu / Ijumu Federal Constituency.
Like an old wine in an old bottle that gets better with time, very few individuals in Kogi West understands our political terrain, dynamics and economics better than the incurable optimist Tee Jay Yusuf.
He knows where, when and how to dot the i’s and cross the t’s to facilitate dividends of democracy to his Constituents’ no matter the constraints.
Like a quintessential religious warrior, Tee Jay is a great example of leadership driven by values, selfless principles, rare accountability, uncommon passion, love and empathy.
No doubt,it is a truism that God at his own time and season chooses leaders for a people not minding age, class or other extraneous sentiments.
